Jean Giraud aka Moebius once talked about how it felt when he helped start up the magazine Metal Hurlant which was called 'Heavy Metal' in the US.

The magazine came out of nowhere in the early seventies. It began to publish trippy, arty, strange, adult, mesmerizing sci fi stories when other comics were about superheroes. The magazine was born out of a personal need of Giraud, Druillet and some others. It was something they just had to do. It was an instant success and changed the way we view comics to this day.

Giraud explained how it felt: It felt like being completely in tune with a culture, he said that during the first four comics he draw for Metal Hurlant his hand would shake. He also said that after the first four comics the ejaculation was over(his words ).

This is what a subculture should feel like... and I think biotech has the potential.

Well, if someone starts something new, especially if something like a subculture, it is exciting, and I guess I would feel the same way:)

Yeah, if there's a move that shows something new to improvement, excitements and interests from members will exist. The thing here is, people expect that new things will come better than the old one. That is the anticipation of every member and we can not avoid this.
