It doesn't seem to have much to do with biology. But I do like the cyberpunk aesthetics and Bai Lings acting. That bad guy, doesn't he look and sound exactly like Craig Venter?

Looks like there's a DVD release on Jan 27.

I downloaded and saw it a few days ago. I kind of liked it. It's not in line with my vision of Biopunk but it's nice in an 80:ies cyberpunk kind of way. It's Molly from Neuromancer meets Ghost in the shell and Videodrome. I just like that stuff.

An armed Mai Ling walking dark futuristic back alleys, single handily defeating the local criminal gang while fighting her inner demons. Scantly clad in black latex/leather and to a soundtrack from Combichrist. I like it a lot. But it's not biology.
